It is the first initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education

Paperless Platform

In Comex 2015, the Ministry of Higher Education is the first to initiate paperless platform. The paper is absent from the stand used in Ministry of Higher Education, which was the opposite earlier.

It is still done with paper in some institutions stands. Previously the stands were full of brochures and different papers, but now the stand is fully paperless due to the use of QR and NFC Technology.

QR technology: (Quick Response)

Everyone knows technology barcode (barcode) which is exactly the code you found in cans and bags, especially in shops to store the price of the product. The QR code is the upgraded version of this code, if the barcode can store only numbers (price, for example) QR Code can store numbers, texts, web addresses, messages and other secure information. Therefore we only need QR code scanning by mobile phone or tablet and access devices which will electronically connect to the ministry’s page to start surfing the website.

Technology NFC: (Near Field communication)

It is a simple technique, this technique is similar to a large extent to Bluetooth which is enabled in the majority of phones, which rely on radio waves to communicate with other devices. But unlike Bluetooth technology that needs activation on both devices to be connected to each other, the technique of NFC do not need to be activated in the device. Just place the devices next to each other and they will get connected immediately within less than ten seconds.

This enables you to access web pages, for example, ministry’s website to begin exploring the latest information related to ministry’s participation and activities in COMEX 2015.
